The Director of ASCAL, Dr. Xhiliola Bixheku, and the Head of the Sector for Relations with the Accreditation Board and Internationalization, Mr. Erion Xhako, participated in the annual event of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA), held in Baku, Azerbaijan on May 17 and 18.

The workshop held on May 17 focused on internationalization and international accreditation, the legal framework for international accreditation, and the practices of countries such as Azerbaijan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands regarding this issue.

On May 18, the General Assembly of this organization took place, where the new President of CEENQA and members of the Executive Board were elected, the CEENQA strategy for 2024-2030 was approved, and the financial report for 2023 was adopted.
